Day 2: Today we checked out of our hotels and boarded the ship. We are all the early seating for dinner, so after our muster drill, we met for dinner.
Day 3: Rest and relaxation – a couple of sea days. We got signed up for shore excursions today. We are all really looking forward to our time on the Amazon.
Today was our “fly day” After getting up to around 2″ of snow on the ground in Wichita and making it to the airport safely we were feeling very good. Karen and RC made it out of Wichita into Dallas and the rest of us flew through Houston. This was a pretty rocky weather day throughout the south and southeast. We made it to Ft. Lauderdale at 8pm. Thank goodness for flying out a day early.

We had so much fun on this cruise. We had 2 pre nights in Venice, Italy and 1 post night in Athens, Greece.
